Red Bull GRC Seattle Preview
Seattle, WA (September 16, 2016) The Red Bull Global Rallycross series heads West to Seattle, Washington for Round 10 of the 2016 season. Patrik Sandell and the Bryan Herta Rallysport team hope to capitalize from back-to-back second place finishes in Washington DC and Atlantic City as any of the current top five drivers could clinch the Championship race. In fourth position, the No.18 Cuttwood Ford Fiesta ST is just five points behind third position and 57 points from first.
Drivers will compete at Evergreen Speedway on an eight turn .791 mile course which incorporates an oval frontstretch and dirt section.
“The track looks awesome,” said Sandell. “I haven’t done much oval driving in my career, but last time I did was in Bristol during my first year of rallycross here in US and we dominated the event. The plan for the weekend is to do the same thing. The Seattle round is very important, we gave away some points in the early part of the season and if we want to fight for the win in LA we need to win in Seattle.”

Red Bull GRC Atlantic City Preview
Atlantic City, NJ (August 26, 2016) After a three week break in the Red Bull Global Rallycross series, the Bryan Herta Rallysport team will race in Atlantic City for Round 9 in the 2016 season. Currently fourth in points, the No. 18 Cuttwood Ford Fiesta ST looks to gain one more position from DC’s second place finish to kick start the final events of the season and finish the Championship on top.
Drivers will compete on the longest track of the season on a 10-turn 1.102 mile course near the city’s historic boardwalk at Bader Field.
“I’m just so excited to be back in the racecar after a three weekend break,” said Sandell, “I have heard it is a smaller version of Las Vegas and I like Las Vegas, so I’m really looking forward to get to that city! It’s been three weekends since the last race and I think all drivers in the field are happy to be back in their cars since it has been such a long break. But it has given our guys time to prepare the car and I know we’re going to get to Atlantic City 100 percent ready to fight for our second win of the season, which is absolutely the goal of the weekend.”

CUTTWOOD BECOMES PRIMARY SPONSOR FOR THE NO. 18 RED BULL GRC CAR / WASHINGTON DC RACE PREVIEW
Washington, D.C. (July 29, 2016) The Bryan Herta Rallysport team will travel to our nation’s capital after a month break in the Red Bull Global Rallycross season. The No. 18 Cuttwood Ford Fiesta ST will compete on a 10-turn .899 mile track with a mix of pavement and dirt next to RFK Stadium, home of the DC United soccer team. Currently fifth in the championship chase with 243 points, Sandell looks to mirror his past success here in DC to gain momentum for the concluding Rounds of the season.
“Looking at DC in the past we have been very successful here,” Said Sandell.” We were second last year and that was good. I think we have a good basic setup to start this race and I’m very happy to be back in the car after a few weeks off. I’m so excited that Cuttwood is here to join us for the remainder of the season as the primary sponsor for us.”
